UK – CO2 emissions and energy requirements

by thetruthseeker

If you live in the UK you will notice that if you believe the media we are doing nothing about renewables and the ‘climate change' crisis – interestingly the data shows a different scenario

CO2 Emissions for UK

Notice a pattern here

CO2 emissions from fuel combustion, United Kingdom

In real world numbers these are

Share of global emissions – 1% of CO2 emissions from combustible fuels, 2021
Total, 2022 – 308.726 Mt CO2
Trend 41% down from 2000-2022

UK energy requirements

Now we are on the subject lets look at our energy mix since that is a major contributor to this so called issue

Crude oil – 38% of domestic energy production
Natural gas – 32% of domestic energy production

So you are seeing that, 70% of energy production is from 2 sources we have an abundance on our doorstep – sources that our wonderful political parties want to stop.

Energy imports and exports

Countries that rely heavily on imported energy may be vulnerable to supply disruption from external events. In countries that export large amounts of energy, falling energy prices can also cause major economic shocks.

Net energy imports – 39.6% of 2022 total energy supply
Trend in energy imports – a 54% INCREASE from 2000-2022

Do you see the idiocy here – we remove our ability to produce oil and gas and import more in. So some questions here

How is this imported and what impact does this have – large ships sailing across the oceans by any chance
How clean is this so called energy, is it frakked for example especially if its bought from the USA

So we reduce our 1% but its moved to other countries at great cost to the average people in the UK but the greens can at least rest easy knowing we have done our bit – yeehaa
